Blackcastle Kennels is situated on approx. 35 acres in Mid Tipperary in the heart of Ireland.We are a small family- run farm/greyhound breeding kennels that specialise in breeding greyhounds that will (hopefully) compete at the highest levels of Irish Track racing. We breed approximately 2 or 3 litters per annum from the best proven bloodlines and all our broods have champion pedigrees. Our pups are only fed the very best food ,are regularly wormed and treated for the prevention of fleas and are inoculated at 6 weeks, 9 weeks and 12 weeks by the Brittas Veterinary Clinic. They are earmarked at 13-14 weeks old. We do not rear pups for anyone else here.We try to keep our numbers small so we usually have to sell a couple of pups at 3 months old. We prefer to rear the pups until they are 12/15 months old here at Blackcastle kennels and give them every chance.
